Sip, Paint and Resistance

"Sip, Paint, and the Art of Resistance" will be an opportunity to explore themes of resistance, identity, and cultural heritages through discussion and artistic self-expression. Students have the chance to paint something that represents their cultural identity while sparking an interest in further inquiry and examination — perhaps through taking advantage of PRLS, Africana Studies, and Caribbean Studies courses at Brooklyn College. At the event, we will provide all of the materials and serve traditional mocktails like Pina Coladas and Carribean Punches.
