About Us
The New York Public Interest Research Group (NYPIRG) is New York’s largest student-directed not-for-profit organization. NYPIRG’s unique mission is to provide New York college students with an opportunity to take a lead role in public policy advocacy campaigns while learning from NYPIRG’s full-time staff members the skills and tactics that have allowed students across New York the ability to stop tuition hikes, ban dangerous drilling practices, register thousands of students to vote every year, and so much more!
