The purpose of the English Graduate Students Organization (hereinafter EGSO) is to provide English Department MFA candidates the opportunity to gain essential pre-professional experience in their field, primarily by way of, but not limited to, the planning, editing, production and eventual publication of a nationally known literary periodical, The Brooklyn Review.
