A visual and sound installation and performance bringing to life the poems from Mary Ellen Solt's Flowers in Concrete through an immersive, multi-sensory experience, juxtaposing them against the underlying strife of what Mary Ellen Solt expresses as, “the core of man’s present situation: a life and death struggle between his conflicting natures.” The project is a fusion of sacred space, digital art, live drawing and shadow projections, immersive sound, and live performance of choral music.
