About Us
Our mission is to build a supportive community of Pre-Physician Assistant students at Brooklyn College where members can connect, collaborate, and help one another throughout their journey toward PA school. The club aims to provide students with resources, guidance, and opportunities that will help them better understand the PA profession and prepare for the PA school application process. We will discuss topics such as prerequisite requirements, patient care experience, shadowing, volunteering, leadership, letters of recommendation, personal statements, interviews, and ways to become a strong and well-rounded applicant. We also plan to organize events such as PA panels, workshops, interview preparation sessions, and informational sessions about PA programs and the admissions process. Through connections with practicing Physician Assistants and other healthcare professionals, members will have opportunities to gain first-hand insight into the profession and learn from their experiences.
