The Black Creative Collective (BCC) is dedicated to fostering a welcoming collaborative and inclusive community for Black students within Brooklyn College. Our mission is to create a supportive space where all creatives can connect with other creatives to share their creative visions, collaborate on projects, and receive support in any steps of the creative process. By offering feedback, working together, and building lasting relationships, we aim to empower each other and cultivate a network that extends beyond the classroom. The BCC is committed to amplifying Black voices in all art forms and creating a nurturing environment where every member can thrive and succeed.

Mission
The purpose of this organization shall be to expand Caribbean culture to the campus
community by introducing live Steelpan (a musical instrument originated in Trinidad and
Tobago) performances and incorporating the instrument to the Brooklyn College campus life
by having the instrument along with performances available upon request for events etc. on
campus. This organization will also educate students on the history of steelpan and theory of
music with practical assistance (availability of the instrument for use and reference to music
theory).

The purpose of this organization is to bring together the composers of Brooklyn College in a strong productive
community.

We want to give the composers more opportunities to have their music performed and more importantly, heard!

Our main goal is to organize concerts to showcase the music of living composers and, ultimately, bring in professional musicians to perform our music giving the members practical experience contracting with outside experts in the field.

The Brooklyn College Undergraduate Musical Theatre Collective's mission is to provide performance and leadership opportunities to the students, alumni, and neighboring community of Brooklyn College through the exploration of the inclusive and accessible, yet neglected art form of American Musical Theatre. The undergraduate chapter would collaborate with the graduate chapter on smaller events, masterclasses, workshops, and finally the mainstage production at the end of each semester.
