The purpose of this organization shall be to unite students who share cultural ties to Eastern Europe and the Caucasus and welcomes anyone who’s interested in learning more about these regions. Our goal is to celebrate our heritage through food, music, language exchanges, and social gatherings that highlight the beauty and diversity of our backgrounds. Altogether we create a safe, friendly, and non-political space for connection, cultural exchange, and friendship across borders while promoting respect, peace, and collaboration with all cultural religious communities.

We empower Central Asian students to feel valued, seen and heard within our campus community. We believe that everyone deserves a voice, and we work to amplify the voices of Central Asian individuals. We aim to create a space for Central Asians to share and celebrate their rich cultural traditions, which have too often been overlooked or forgotten. Through cultural events and activities, we hope to foster a sense of pride and connection to our heritage. The American Central Asian Association is committed to providing a supportive network for all Brooklyn College students, especially Central Asians. We offer assistance with personal challenges and academic pursuits, connecting students with peers who understand their unique experiences. We welcome everyone who is interested in learning about Central Asian cultures, supporting Central Asian students, or advocating for racial justice. Our club is open to all, and we believe that diversity strengthens our collective efforts.

We organize and host cultural events throughout the year including Bengali new year, International Mother Language Day, and other historically important days for Bangladeshi students. The purpose of this organization shall be to promote the unique aspects of Pakistan’s culture
and society, bringing together all students with an interest in Pakistan’s rich culture and
history. The Pakistani Students Association at Brooklyn College also aims to organize
discussion panels, faculty talks, and cultural events that shed light on contemporary issues of
importance, while introducing people to the various cultures that define Pakistan’s identity. As
undergraduate students, our goal would be to create opportunities for all those interested in
learning about our country, while raising awareness, fostering dialogue, sharing ideas, and
planning ahead to create a bright future for our beloved homeland.

The mission of the MENA Student Association is to raise awareness, foster understanding, and cultivate appreciation of Middle Eastern and North African cultures within the Brooklyn College community. Membership benefits of the MENA Student Association include the opportunity to celebrate and experience Middle Eastern and North African cultures and to foster unity within Brooklyn College. Members can participate in cultural, social, and educational events that focus on the diversity of MENA countries through food, language, music, dialects, and traditions. The Puerto Rican Alliance is devoted to the advancement of Puerto Rican and other Latinos through educational, cultural, and political awareness. PRA is dedicated to providing concrete services for students that will embrace their personal and academic experiences at Brooklyn College.

The PUERTO RICAN ALLIANCE is devoted to the advancement of Puerto Rican and other Latinx peoples through education and cultural and political awareness. We, the members of the PUERTO RICAN ALLIANCE, see a lack of cultural, political, and social awareness among Puerto Ricans and other Latinxs on campus, specifically having to do with their own culture and history. Knowing that this can be detrimental to our progression as a people, we seek to increase the number of students willing to take an active role in shaping our future and the future of a multicultural and non-racist Brooklyn College community. We also would like to make the plight of Puerto Ricans in the United States known to everyone in order to promote understanding of our (colonized) people.
