The Bulldog Achievement Awards
The Bulldog Achievement Awards celebrate the dedication, talent, and accomplishments of our student community throughout the academic year. This signature event recognizes both group achievements, such as student clubs and organizations, as well as individual excellence, ensuring that everyone’s hard work and contributions are honored. As one of the biggest events of the year, the ceremony brings together students, staff, and faculty in a night of recognition and pride. Award winners are selected through student nominations, making each honor a true reflection of the campus community’s appreciation and support.

The Involvement Fair
The Involvement Fair is your one-stop opportunity to see everything happening on campus! Student clubs and organizations table to share information about who they are and what they offer. Cultural Experience
Cultural Experience is a vibrant celebration that highlights the diverse cultures represented on our campus community. This exciting event brings students, faculty, and staff together for a day filled with delicious cultural foods, dynamic live performances, and engaging activities that showcase traditions from around the world. Attendees can enjoy giveaways, connect with peers, and learn more about the unique backgrounds and identities that make our campus so special. The Cultural Experience is more than just an event it’s an opportunity to celebrate unity, embrace diversity, and foster understanding across cultures.

Ice-Cream Social
The Ice Cream Social is a sweet way to connect with your campus community! At this event, faculty and campus departments come together to serve students ice cream with each department offering a special topping to build your perfect sundae. As you make your way around, you’ll have the chance to meet staff, learn about resources, and discover opportunities, all while enjoying a fun and tasty treat. It’s the perfect mix of information, interaction, and ice cream!

The Lead for Change Student Retreat
The L.E.A.D. for Change Student Retreat is a three-night experience held in upstate New York during the winter, designed to help students grow as leaders while connecting with one another. Through workshops, group activities, and reflection, participants explore their strengths and weaknesses as a collective, building skills that will empower them to make a positive impact on campus. This retreat brings together 40 student leaders, selected based on their campus involvement, to develop tools for collaboration, self-awareness, and change-making. By the end of the retreat, students return ready to use their new insights to strengthen the campus community and inspire others. This event is usually held in the month of September to honor Hispanic Heritage Month and the Latinx Story in collaboration with the Immigrant Student Success Office (ISSO), Black and Latino Male Initiative, and the PRLS Department.

S.A.I.L in collaboration with the Black and Latino Male Initiatives (BLMI), the Black History Month Committee along with other student clubs put together a calendar of events in the month of February in honor of Black History for students to enjoy!

The S.A.I.L Center Collaborates with campus offices and student clubs to celebrate Native American Heritage Month with the campus community by co-hosting a Pasifika Night in the month of November!
